Project Présentation
| Sportivo’s new project is located in a small 1907 palace on Calle Limón in Madrid’s Conde Duque neighborhood. This new space is a continuation of Sportivo’s previous store, which has been operating for over twenty years. It’s a corner location with large windows and iron columns, featuring original terrazzo floors. The original materials and elements, such as, walls, floors, and windows, have been preserved as if it were an archaeological endeavor, with the passage of time taking the spotlight. The space represents a contrast between the delicacy and fragility of the materials while maintaining the solidity of the construction. |

In Mayice Studio, is respected the soul of materials. Mayice Studio is dedicated to product design and architecture. Our essence is in respect for materials, its history and functionality, from the first sketch to the final result. Mayice studio was founded in 2015 by Imanol Calderón Elósegui and Marta Alonso Yebra. Each project is a challenge for us, to give aesthetic and functional solutions and respecting the soul of the materials in spaces and products. We work globally with our clients, as a collective. Sharing. We work closely with crafts. Crafts and tehnology is a constant dialog in our work.
