This meticulously crafted single-story private residence stands as a testament to the harmonious fusion of architecture, interior design, and personal philosophy. From Inside Out: A Thoughtful Approach to Design

The home’s design follows an inside-out methodology, ensuring that form follows function with seamless fluidity. Architect and designer worked in unison to shape the space, encapsulating its structural logic within an architectural shell that eliminates excess and maximizes purposeful use. The result is a home where every square meter is thoughtfully designed, leaving no room for redundancy.

Form, Function, and Nature in Harmony

Designed in a U-shaped layout, the home embraces an open green courtyard, creating an uninterrupted visual and spatial connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Floor-to-ceiling glass facades dissolve boundaries, inviting nature into the interiors while ensuring privacy through a monolithic street-facing façade. The architectural solution, praised by building authorities, seamlessly integrates into the surrounding low-rise neighborhood, emphasizing proportion over ostentation.

Minimalism with a Personal Touch

Designer Aleksejs Čurbakovs delved into the client's lifestyle, translating their vision into a restrained yet warm minimalist aesthetic. Custom-designed furniture, dimmable lighting systems controlled via mobile app, and carefully sourced European furnishings balance functionality with refined aesthetics. The prominence of black is counterbalanced by generous glass facades, ensuring a continuous interplay between the interior and the surrounding landscape. Even the sauna’s glass panels offer a unique dual function—maintaining privacy while framing garden views.

The experimental ethos extends to the outdoor areas, where Wall&Deco exterior-grade wallpaper redefines terrace design. Designed to withstand variable weather conditions, these wallpapers maintain their pristine appearance, effortlessly cleaned with water. Constructed on strip foundations, the home’s structural framework consists of aerated concrete blocks complemented by expansive glazed facades.
