Architect since graduating from the Escuela Superior de Arquitectura at the Universidad San Pablo CEU de Madrid in 2010, having obtained an exchange scholarship in TKK Alvar Aalto University of Helsinki (Finland). Since 2011 he has also held a Master in Collective Housing from from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid ETSAM. During his professional career he has been part of prestigious firms such as Estudio Lamela, b720 Arquitectos or Herzog & de Meuron (Basel, Switzerland) where he has participated in the development and execution of projects of different scales and typologies in various countries. In 2015 he co-founded the architecture and interior design studio Álvarez Sotelo, whose projects and works have been awarded and highlighted in some of the most relevant international publications. In 2020 he became a PMI Executive graduate in Project Management from the EOI School of Industrial Organization. In 2021 he co-founded hiwood., a leading creative art and design workshop on the national art scene and was also selected by MWCC as one of the 35 best young architects in Spain. Since 2024 he has been Professor of the Design Studio subject of the Bachelor in Interior Design at the UDIT University.
