Throughout his career, he has collaborated with some of
the world's most influential hotel operators, including Virgin Hotels, Nobu Hospitality, Taj
Hotels Resorts and Palaces, Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Starwood Hotels & Resorts
Worldwide, InterContinental Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, and Mandarin Oriental.
Gronda has successfully created environments for hotels, resorts, spas, and restaurants,
and has been instrumental in developing the identities of new hotel brands globally. His
expertise extends beyond hospitality, encompassing the design of residential and office
buildings, cultural and retail spaces, and the creation of master plans for projects such as
art cities in Hong Kong, sustainable islands in Qatar, and floating markets in Buenos Aires.
Born in Buenos Aires to Italian parents, Diego studied architecture at the University of
Buenos Aires. He later earned a Master of Architecture from Parsons School of Design
(The New School), where he was honored with the AIA (American Institute of Architects)
